Apartments, Hans and Tales: Galata-Pera-Beyoğlu

Guided by the Istanbul Tükenmeden team, this route will explore the backstreets of Pera, a city shaped by Western lifestyles from the 19th century onward. Numerous venues, from historic apartment buildings and han’s to schools and shops, will be explored through stories of daily life in Pera. The route will then reach Galata, a port district with layers representing the city's different eras.

Notes:

Each participant may only register for one route.

After registering, route tickets must be acquired from the MARUF stand on MARUF days.

Participants must be present at the Haliç Congress Center with their tickets at 1:30 PM. Registration information will be provided one week in advance.

Transportation to the route starting point will be provided. At the end of the route, participants will be able to return by their own means.
