Event Description

This session will discuss alternative possibilities to current urban transformation and strengthening practices in Turkey within the framework of housing cooperatives. Conducted in a roundtable format, the session will address housing cooperatives as a model based on solidarity and participation; financing, community organization forms, and the roles local governments can assume will be evaluated from different perspectives.
