Kreşendo x Roof Coliving | 'The Image of the City'

In this workshop, participants will explore the traces that cities leave in our memories, inspired by Kevin Lynch’s The Image of the City. While discussing their personal urban images shaped by individual experiences, participants will create their own personal city maps using drawing, short notes, and visual storytelling techniques. Alongside these maps, the workshop will focus on how changing urban images and our relationship with urban space define evolving urban experiences and intersect with urban policies. This workshop invites all participants to creatively document how our perception of the city changes over time and to collectively reflect on the symbolic ties and dialogue we establish with the city, uncovering shared images embedded in urban memory.
