Anne Güller-Frey
Coordinator, Transnational Activities, Metropolis International
Anne Güller-Frey works since 2005 for the Network Integration through Qualification (IQ),
within which she was responsible for coordinating the transnational work and activities. The Network IQ aims to promote integration – specially labour market integration, mutual understanding and social participation while focusing on both: the host society to build on a welcoming culture as well as on migrants and refugees to find their way into society and into the labour market. Previously responsible for the EQUAL Transnational Partnership MEET (Migrants Employment empowerment Training); responsible for the Media Campaign: “Integration begins at work” with the aim to change the public view on migrants from deficit- to resource orientated. She has considerable experience in labour market integration issues of migrants and refugees, having directly taken part to European and International Programs (EQUAL, INTI, Erasmus, Horizon2020, Erasmus+ etc.).
Since 2015 she has been a lecturer at the University of the Federal Employment Service.
She is a member of the International Steering Committee of Metropolis and also a member of
the Council on Integration of the Bavarian Government. She worked for the Enquete Commission on Integration of the Bavarian Parliament. Besides this, she is working on the topic of Intercultural competence development, holding a degree as "Intercultural Trainer and Consultant".
