Ceren Lordoglu
Dr., Sociology, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University
Ceren Lordoğlu received her BA in Sociology from Mimar Sinan University, MA in Sociology from METU, and PhD in Urban and Regional Planning from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. She works as a lecturer at the Women’s Studies Research Center and the Department of Sociology at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. She conducts research and lectures on feminist geography, gender and women's studies, everyday life, and space. Her book “Being a Single Woman in Istanbul” was published by İletişim Publications in 2018. Recently, she has been conducting various social research projects in an effort to address "home" in a multidimensional way. In 2023, as a guest researcher at the University of Liverpool with a TÜBİTAK International Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, she is conducting a research on the homes of Turkish immigrants living in Liverpool.
