Sophie Naue is an Urban Planner and Innovation Specialist with +10 years of professional experience combining academia and practice in international projects, with a focus on urban informality, co-creation processes and digital transformation. Since 2022 she works as the academic lead for the United Nations Innovation Technology Accelerator for Cities (UNITAC Hamburg) a collaboration of UN-Habitat, UN-OICT and the City Science Lab at the HafenCity University. Leading UNITACs overall research activities, she is responsible for the design of participatory urban data solutions, applied research and development of sustainable data strategies for piloting cities around the world. With a strong focus on the international innovation ecosystems, where innovative approaches, digital tools and strategies will be teste, implemented and scaled.
