Gabriela Ilievska

Ilievska was born in 1977 in Bitola. Graduated in 2002 as a Specialist Medical Laboratory Analyst at Higher Medical School- Bitola. From 2008 to 2015, she was teaching assistant on the subjects Clinical Biochemistry 1 and 2 at the Higher Medical School in Bitola, and as a laboratory analyst at the Bitola Clinical Hospital St. Trifun Panovski has been working since 2002. Wanting and needing more beautiful city that develops and progresses on the right path, clean and green Bitola, equal opportunities for everyone, appropriate animal protection, Ilievska started her fight inside the municipal institutions in 2013, as a councilor in the Council of Municipality of Bitola. In 2017, she was the first woman holder of an independent civil list when, as "Poinaku", they won two council seats on the local elections in Bitola, which was also the only municipality with over 40,000 citizens that has independent councillors. In 2021, also as a representative from the independent civil list "Poinaku", she becomes the first independent President of the Council of Municipality of Bitola. In her mandates as a councilor in the Council of the Municipality of Bitola, she has been a member and president of the Commission for Equal Opportunities and the Commission for Finance and Budget, as well as other committees. She is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Association of the units of local self-government of the Republic of Macedonia-ZELS and and a member of the Council of Committees of ZELS.
