Deputy Coordinator of the Vision 2050 Office, Istanbul Planning Agency
She graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of City and Regional Planning in 2002. She completed her master's degree in Ankara University, Department of Public Administration and Political Science, Department of Urban and Environmental Sciences in 2006. Her doctoral study, which focused on urbanization and relations with the industry sector "Emergence of Different Forms of The Transformation of The Industrial Sectors In The City of Istanbul In Turkey", at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Istanbul University, was completed in 2016.
She participated in research projects on urban sociology, urbanization history, urban economy, and gender politics. Some of these projects are; Kağıthane's Social History; In Social Memory, Time and Space: Maltepe Settlement; and Unknown History of Tekel Cevizli Factory: Women's Tekel.
Between 2005 and 2007, she worked as an urban planner at the Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Planning Office and in some other private planning offices at different times. She has been working at Istanbul Planning Agency since 2020. She is the Gender Policies Expert and Deputy Coordinator of the Vision 2050 Office.
She took part in urban movements focusing on urbanization and ecology. She has been a volunteer at Kadıköy Cooperative since 2017.
