Mihail Dimovski

Mr. Mihail Dimovski is experienced Team leader of large-scale EU-funded flag ship projects, assessing and cooperating with EU enlargement countries on legislative, policy and institutional alignment within EU environmental legislation. He is also a former member of the EBRD Environment and Social Advisory Council. He brings 28.8 years of in-depth professional experience and excellent understanding of EU environment and climate acquis and EU enlargement process throughout his career supporting former candidate countries, now EU member states (Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary) in developing and implementing EU environment and climate acquis. Mr. Dimovski is supporting candidate and potential candidate countries across Western Balkans including Turkey in alignment with EU environment and climate acquis, waste management practices and circular economy. Mr. Dimovski served as Team leader on “EU IPA funded multi country project Environment and Climate Regional Accession Network–(ECRAN)” leading the complex multi-country project that targeted Western Balkans countries and Turkey (IPA II region) . In capacity of Team Leader of EU Environment Partnership Programme for Accession (EPPA) project in Western Balkans and Turkey, he is providing technical assistance and capacity building to IPA II beneficiaries towards the alignment of Western Balkan countries and Turkey with EU environmental acquis. Mr. Dimovski is leading the activities on DEEP Project aimed to support Turkiye transition towards circular economy.
