Just My Two Cents on my City: Through the Lens of Jane Jacobs

In this workshop, participants will get to know Jane Jacobs’ urbanism principles and the spirit of Jane’s Walks, while experiencing their own neighborhood through Jacobs’ perspective. 

Working in small groups, they will engage in designing a walking route across different districts of Istanbul, and subsequently generate ideas to contribute to a Jane’s Walk in Kadıköy. The workshop aims to encourage seeing everyday spaces with a fresh perspective, fostering collective thinking, and adding personal insights to the city’s story.
